Weekly Resolutions!

- Trim down my crafting list, being active on projects in my down time
- Craft Night.. Just two lonesome Crafty Cunts this week.. our other two members will be mia
- Ignoring things that don't really effect me

I don't have much of anything planned for this coming week. My week always starts on Sunday because I work a double that day, so I am mostly at work.. (hiss) But this week I believe I will have two days off in a row! I won't know what to do with myself.

So this week I got into Heroes.. Holy Crap this show is amazing! So I am almost finished with Season Two and am looking forward to Season Three.

If I could recommend a movie right now, it would be Forgetting Sarah Marshall.. It makes me laugh, a lot.

Also, I am really worried about my friends from New Orleans. I lived there for two years, and that place really felt like home. It isn't the same after Katrina.. There have been minimal repairs and lots of people are still homeless. This Gustav doesn't sound very good.. I just hope everyone I know in that area gets to some safer grounds during this Labor Day weekend.

Smokin' Tote

After making Sewphie that awesome tote..

I had to make one similar for myself.. I just couldn't resist.. But I chanaged it up with some different patterns..

Using the Mitch O'Connell pattern of the smokin hot girl.. and some cherries from the tattoo patterns! I used a lot of metallic floss on this one too, which I am not sure if it was a good idea or not.. but I couldn't resist. Any comments are welcomed.. let me know what you think!

Read My Skin

So about two weeks ago I was having a conversation with Brook about tattoos.. She asked to see mine and it got me to thinking about how I don't really share much about them. I mean tattoos mean a lot to me.. My tattoos mean a lot to me! I don't get tattooed as much as I use to.. I started when I was 19, and honestly it has changed my life.. So here is a post about something that is important to me.

So that includes both arms.. the koi fish piece has more to it on my forearm, but its just an outline! Also the "Three Words Kill" tattoo has been touched up and looks a milliong times better!

Hope you all like me sharing, I just wanted to share something that is part of me and important to me.

I did alittle Hello Kitty piece the other day.. put it on my Etsy. I just wanted to do something cute, because I hardly ever do.

Weekly Resolutions

- Work on controlling my temper, or it will control me

- Work on new pieces for Etsy

So I'm not trying gloat but.. Apparently there are 3 of my latest post that are on the front page of craftster.org under HOT NEW PROJECTS FROM ALL CATEGORIES ! Which has never in my life happened before.. 3!!!

Okay so this past week has been one that I have accomplished so much in.. The last week and a half I sold 5 items on my etsy shop.. and finished up 2 swaps! Man busy bee.. Not to mention I did a few new projects for my etsy shop.

I got a message from the girl I sold the kirby piece to. I sent her a message last night asking if she recieved it.. She wrote back saying yes, she was planning on giving it to someone for a bday present but when she got it she couldn't wait.. She said she went ahead and gave it to him for desk at work and he was very very happy! That made me so happy.. I am so glad I can do a piece, big or small, and it bring joy to someone else.

I got a message from one of my good friends in Mobile, Alabama this week as well. He is one of my old tattoo artists! He was just messaging me to say he missed me and see what I have been up to. He is out of work at the moment with a fucked up back.. Hope you feel better soon CW. I still want another piece from him.. It is nice to know that if I am back in Mobile that I have friends that want to see me.

All in all this is one positive blog entry.. Now I must go get ready for tonight! Soprano's night with Italian food and some pretty amazing friends.

You're A Hooker

This is something me and Lee say to one another all the time.. We both love love love Grandma's Boy!! This is the second piece I have done that was inspired by that movie.. The first one was this one..

Swap Stuff for Sewphie!

So I am trucking along with my weekly resolutions.. almost all done infact! I finished Sewphie's projects and I am really excited! I hope she likes them!!

favorite tote I have ever made! LOVE IT! I satin stitched the anchors completely. Then I wanted to keep the girl simple, so I just satined her eyes and lips. All in all this is one of my favorite pieces!

I know she loves pinups.. which made me want to do another. She got cut off alittle because I decided I wanted to add swallows. The swallows are metallic floss and so are the stars and spots.

I hope Sewphie loves these two things, because I sure do. Now I am offically all caught up! woohoo!!

Attack of the Sprites!!

I couldn't resist.. I started with Kirby, which I posted a picture of earlier..
I found all these awesome small frames at thrift stores incase you are wondering. :)
I love Super Mario Brothers 2! My favorite part was being able to use Princess Peach.. the coasting she could do was very helpful.. not to mention she is adorable!
God.. who doesn't love Metroid?!? I mean really?! On this piece I actually used silver metallic floss to fill in the white-ish grey part.. I think it really made it look awesome but you can't tell in the picture.
This was a test run for me. My boyfriend is a huge Final Fantasy fan.. and I want to do a bigger piece for him later.. but until now this will have to do :)

Weekly Resolutions!

- Finish up Sewphie's Swap project
- Mail Brook's Swap
- Mail my application to Sublime Stitching (stop being a slacker, you've had it for 3 weeks!)
- Work and try not to get fed up because we are under staffed
- Me and Lee's 9 Months.. wow!!
- Go to the movies, I have really been itching to go see something!
- Remember not to be judgemental.. Remember how unattractive that feature is.
- Mail the pieces sold on Etsy.

Easy week this week.. just lots of work!
Ally got her package and LOVED it! So I felt pretty stoked for her. I am going to send Brook's package either tomorrow or wednesday. Yay! I hope you love it Brook!

Swaps and Yaps

So I have been crafting.. despite my not posting pictures. I finished two projects that I am swapping Brook! I was so pleased to finish them, now I just hope she will be pleased with them. Forgive me the frame has purple, but I avoided it in the pillowcase! Hope you like them, I will mail them asap!

The handwriting is my own, so it is not perfect! The sublime stitching font wouldn't fit in the banner.. sorry Brook.. but hey that makes it more personally I guess. :)

I also added alittle sprite to My Etsy Store!

And I started on my other swap.. I am almost halfway through one piece, then I am going to do one more. I think I am only up for two projects to each swap. Especially since these are my first swaps ever! But I really hope both ladies are happy.


This week has been rather awesome. I have oragnized a Soprano night cause Lee has never seen them. It is so much fun getting together with friends, cooking a awesome dinner and then just enjoying each other's company. It has been a long time since I have felt welcome, it is really nice.

Bummer of the week! We were all planning on going to see the new Harry Potter movie for my bday.. but found out yesterday it got bumped back til July 09.. First they bump back Spiderman 4 til 11, and now this.. Sorry geek rant but it pisses me off.


Does anyone know of any good movies coming out?

Tattoo Talk

So last night I got my forearm piece finished. I am slowly but surely getting very close to being done with my sleeve. It was going to be 3/4 but it is looking more like a full sleeve. Oopps! It is a tradtional sleeve meets new school.

Me and Matt don't fuck around with color, bitches!

Here is my newest addition to my sleeve, which took a six hour sitting to color and shade and a three hour for the outline.

Sorry I know I am not the best at taking pictures of my own arm.. haha so bare with me :)
This piece ends just about a inch and 1/2 from my wrist. I already have the rest of the sleeve planned out, its honestly just two more pieces than the background and I will practically have a full sleeve. Now if I can just finish the up the right arm.. It was started six years ago. I am such a broke slacker! Anyway thought I would share in my unneccesary pain with you guys!

Ally's Care Package

I really wanted to do more for it but was hitting blanks.. but I hope she will like it! Spoiler alert Ally! You should get it in a few days.

and the cupcake necklace.. which I know this isn't the best picture! The chain is hearts looped together and the headpins holding the crystals have hearts on the ends. I tried to make them look like sprinkles. :)

The Etsy Store is still just starting out.. I haven't filled out my Sublime Stitching Agreement yet so I haven't even posted any of those projects, and yet I have sold three pieces this past week. It has been so awesome to see other people getting excited about pieces that I have done.. That I designed and put my heart into it so to speak. It has really made me feel pretty wonderful.

So I read my horoscope today and it was so wierd.. it hit so close to home!

Weekly Resolutions!

- Start on project(s) for Brook!
- Figure out what I am going to make for Sewphie!
- Craft Night Monday! (make rice crispy treats!)
- Tattoo Appt on Tuesday night!!!!!!!
- Continue to try to better myself daily.. No one is perfect!
- Continue going to work in a good mood.
- Love everyday like it might be my last, because honestly it very well could be!

So usually I post this on Sunday.. Sunday is the end of my week usually so I like posting my resolutions at the beginning of the next week.

This past week has been insane.. One of my online friends lost someone that was once dear to her and was the father of her child. I feel helpless because I don't know what to say.. all I can get out of this is.. wake up! life is short! don't waste any time on something that isn't important.. for all you know the last 30 minutes could be your last 30 minutes ever! If you feel you should say something don't bottle it up, don't ignore the urges.. It could very well be just as important to the person you want to say it to.

I have been spending a lot of time with my new friends. I haven't lived in this area for too long, a year.. It was a hard transition and now I am feeling at home and wanted. It is a really great feeling! And our craft nights are the best! We have named ourselves the Crafty Cunts! Or the Crafty Cupcakes to our grandmothers.. haha. It has been so long since anywhere felt like a home that was welcoming and accepting. Its usually judgemental.. I am really thankful for this change of pace!

Work has been no different, but I have been managing to not let things get to me so much. It has been a great relief. But they still tried to call me in tonight.. caller id best invention ever!

Tonight I went to a party.. it was fun! I got to see some amazing people, which whom I have been hanging out every weekend with for the past month.. month and a half. It is like when you are a kid and you have that group of friends that is like family!

All in all I guess I should have titled this post friendship.. because it has really been the only thing that has snapped me to my senses.. that and started reading a lot of inspirational things. I just hope that everyone knows that life is short.. and we should love one another instead of hating and being spiteful and judgemental. I don't want my last second to be spent hating or regretting. Hope you all have a wonderful night!

so 2 pieces sold off my Etsy shop today.. Very cool! I haven't filled out all the stuff for Sublime Stitching because I have been so busy hanging out with friends and my boyfriend! But I think its super cool that pieces I did are selling.. especially ones where I did some freehanded work.. Makes me super happy!

And I am so nervous about posting my current work.. but here is a piece I finished last night.and yes those are little piles of poop! If anything I am witty!
